Genevieve Middle School από το Missouri, USA.
That is so interesting that you said that about the smaller groups. After the call we talked about what could make the call better and came to the same conclusion. The students have been greeting each other in the hall saying, «Geia»! They are asking questions about the next video call and were chatting with your students on social media about their visit. It is my belief they we are facilitating something special. My students now understand more about the world and about people as a result of this cultural exchange. Thank you for opening up your school to my students and thank you for being such a wonderful educator. “The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.” – Saint Augustine

I believe that the Google hangout yesterday was quite fun. Also, I liked the fact
that we made new internet friends even though we share different cultures. So, we had many things to say. I would like to get to learn these people better. It was a great experience.

I loved getting to know all of these amazing people from Missouri! They are so lovely and sweet and also filled with kindness! I really like the idea of talking to students from a country that’s far away, and becoming more social this way. Also, it was really nice to talk to them via a hangout call!

Yesterday, we had a hangout session with some American students. It was the first time I experienced something like this. It was cool because we had the opportunity to hear their voices and share some ideas and opinions. Through this experience, we made new friends, we learnt things about their lives and we had tons of fun!!!

I suppose it’s a great experience we’ve all been through and we will all remember it. Great to see you all, guys! Sorry for having to wake up soooo early, but I’m pretty sure it was worth it. Well, the only problem was the poor connection. Never mind; still, one of my best experiences.

The Google hangout session we did with the people from Missouri was an incredible experience! We got to know each other and we still keep in touch with them through instagram. I really liked the idea of getting to know them and watching them live. I’d do it again! We had a lot of fun!

Well, I think that the hangout session with the American kids was amazing! I was really happy to watch these kids wake up so early just tο say “Geia” to us. I always wanted to travel to America and now I had the chance to talk to students that are across the Atlantic ocean with α different culture and language … So, I was so happy to have this hangout with complete strangers from America.
